Where light meets pigment
Metallic watercolor. Naturalist creatures. A weekend of quiet wonder.
No experience needed — just the willingness to be surprised by yourself.
Our Mission
We live in a world that moves fast, generates everything instantly, and rarely asks us to slow down and make something with our own two hands.
Watercolor is different. It resists rushing. It has a memory. When you add metallic pigment, something almost inexplicable happens — light catches on the surface and the painting seems to breathe.
That handmade quality — the slight variation, the luminous unpredictability, the feeling that a human was present in every stroke — is irreplaceable. No algorithm can produce it. No filter can replicate it.
Our mission is to bring creativity and magic back into the lives of women who were told, somewhere along the way, that art wasn't for them.
We believe in flow — that state where time disappears and you are simply present. We believe in the surprise of your own capability. And we believe that metallic watercolor is one of the most accessible doorways into that feeling.
Why Shimmer
In a world of generated content, a painting made by your hands carries something technology cannot: evidence of a life, a moment, a person who was present.
That quiet state where time dissolves and you're simply creating — you don't earn it through talent. You step into it through the right conditions, a gentle sequence, and permission to begin.
The moment you hold a finished painting and think "I made this?" — that's the whole point. We design every workshop to lead you there.

Meet your teacher
I wasn't always an artist. I fell in love with ink and watercolor because they're gentle, forgiving, and full of quiet surprises. You don't need perfection to create something beautiful.
I'm deeply inspired by nature — the hidden shimmer in a dragonfly's wings, the glow of a tropical fish, the jewel-like colours found in small creatures and wild places.
My art lives where nature and light meet — curiosity and wonder. And it is my greatest joy to share that doorway with you, without overwhelm, without pressure, and without needing to "be artistic."
